Pinterest

For the longest time I have been holding out on joining this site. I figured I didn't need another site that I felt like I had to keep up with. I probably still don't need it, but after so much talk about how great it is, I finally caved and joined up!

So far I am enjoying it and I can tell it will be an endless source of inspiration. The downside is that I don't have an endless amount of time or money to spend on those inspirations. For now, I'm keeping it simple. One board for my projects, one for projects I want to do, one for recipes and another for home decor. Talk to me in a week to see if that has changed- better yet, follow me at http://pinterest.com/kindallw

If you aren't on Pinterest, you are welcome to message me with your email and I will send you an invite. I hear requesting it from the site can take awhile, but a friend of mine sent me one and I got it immediately!

Happy Pining!

PS: I'm hoping there is a way to not get emails every time someone re-pins something. Within an hour I had 11 emails- not cool

  1. I'm a new follower to your blog (love your stuff by the way)...I've been addicted to Pinterest, and like you, I don't have the time or money that I desire to invest into some of the THOUSANDS of projects that inspire me. But, having said that, it is nice to dream and be inspired. Love your blog, keep up the good work!

  2. Kindall, lady, Pinterest is evil in a good sort of way. And keeping your boards to a minimum is a good idea.

We have started using it for program ideas for the library and, yikes, it has gotten out of control!

  3. I love Pinterest but it keeps me way too busy. I find all kinds of cool things and new people...like you! I love the bench made out of 3 chairs. Now if I could find for sure how you made it. :)
